Floriography is the language of flowers. Popular in the Victorian era, each flower has a special meaning.

This series of digitized watercolor paintings is meant to be a series of sympathy cards. Instead of printing them myself or having a print run done and selling them on Etsy, I'm putting them up on Zazzle, where I don't have to worry about handling and shipping merchandise. They were sketched in pencil and painted with watercolors using a fairly dry brush. I like my watercolors nearly opaque, so I think I'll switch mainly to gouache for my paintings in the future. I then scanned them in and played around with them in GIMP.
