I think I'm going to embroider this one, maybe as a pendant or a brooch.

Art Nouveau and to a lesser degree, Art Deco are my favorite art styles. I love the curves, the swirls, and the natural flow of the style. A lot of my style is influenced by Art Nouveau and Deco.

Quick sketch that could be a part of the Floriography series. Heart's Ease is another common name for a Johnny Jump Up, or violet. I love these tiny flowers!

Another flower that could be a part of the Floriography Series. I'm not totally familiar with this flower. I probably found it while searching flower meanings.

Minnesota's state flower, although Google now tells me it's called a Pink and White Lady's Slipper. I've never seen one in person, even though I've lived here all my life.

This might be a nice embroidery. A brooch perhaps?

I often see bright yellow daffodils in the ditches in the Elk River and Zimmerman areas of Minnesota. I don't know if they're wild or cultivated, but it's always nice to see a few spots of yellow here and there in the spring.
