Anatomy is interesting and important for an artist to understand, even a little bit. I did this skeletal study sitting at Grand Slam in Coon Rapids, MN while my son was off playing laser tag.

Skeletal study of a cat's skull done at the same time as Within the Rabbit. I liked the rabbit so much I thought I'd give another species a shot. I think the outer layer of the cat is less successful than that of the rabbit. It seems a little too cartoonish, but it did help me understand how the cat's face is formed.
